All in the Pursuit of Happiness

I'm still in the pursuit of happiness. And should you think that's because I haven’t found it—let me tell you, that’s not it at all.
Happiness isn’t one big breakthrough moment. It’s not “finally” getting the promotion or the house. Those things may feel good—but can be fleeting. Real happiness is vibrant. It shifts, it grows, and sometimes even hides, causing us to continue looking again.
That’s why I’m still pursuing it. Because happiness is never done with us. Just when we think that we’ve “arrived,” our circumstances may change . And suddenly, we’re invited to explore happiness from an entirely different perspective.
And here’s why it matters: happiness is fuel. It’s not just a feel-good bonus—it’s what gives us strength to rise after setbacks, courage to take risks, and clarity about what truly matters. Without it, even success can feel empty. With it, even ordinary days shine.
So here’s my invitation to you: don’t wait for happiness to arrive wrapped in a perfect moment. Go after it. Pursue it in the small choices that you make, the conversations you have, the quiet moments you allow yourself to savour.
Because the pursuit itself—the curiosity, the searching, the noticing - that accompany it - therein lies happiness.
